Samsung 4th generation Note was released this year at the 2014 IFA held in Berlin, Germany. I have only one question in mind and that's "is it worth it?" I could speak for myself and my answer is "Heak Yeah!" The Note 4 is jam packed with the best hardware and design I've seen to date from Samsung. It's designed to resemble the Note 3 in many respect except for the metal frame around the device. The beautiful curves and shape of the Note 4 remains unchanged. Its dimension make the Note 4 lighter and much more robust-feel keeping the home key, power/unlock and volume keys in the same spot. Samsung kept the back-panel the same with the faux-leather and it still allows you to have quick access to the SD-slot, SIM-tray and removable battery pack. So what makes the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 worth getting? Here are the specs:

  • Use 5.7 inche Quad HD AMOLED display
  • Resolution 2560 x 1440 pixels
  • Non-water resistant
  • 2.7GHz QualComm Snapdragon 805 processor
  • 3GBs RAM
  • 32GBs of storage but expandable to 64GBs
  • Android 4.4.4 with TouchWiz interface
  • Soon to be updated to Android L during shipping
  • Split-screen functionality is still there
  • Captured images, text and webpages can be converted from editing and annotation with the S-pen
  • 16MP camera
  • Optical image stabilization – helps with steady sot while holding it with one hand
  • 3.7MP wide angle front facing camera
  • More sensitive stylus pen to mimic your handwriting
  • Battery capacity 3,220 mAh
  • Available colors – frosted white, charcoal black, bronze gold and blossom pink
  • Cost $600 no contract | $300 with contract
