Lenovo Announces the Y70 Touch Laptop Extreme Performance for HD Gaming at the 2014 IFA

Today Lenovo made a huge announcement at the 2014 IFA Consumer Electronics show in Berlin. This year was all about tablets, PCs, All-in-One Computers, dedicated gaming PC machines, and smartphones. Lenovo kicked off their lineup with the Y70 Touch laptop. The Y70 Touch is Lenovo's first 17-inch touch laptop, which offers gamers high performance with a 4th generation Intel Core Processor and NVIDIA GTX graphics card.

The Lenovo Y70 Touch comes with a 4th generation Intel Core i7 processor and powerful NVIDIA GTX graphics card, making it ideal for heavy entertainment use and HD gaming. At 17 inches, the Y70 Touch is Lenovo’s largest touchscreen laptop, opening up a whole new level of interaction for video editing, social sharing and gaming.

The Y70 delivers fantastic audio and visual experience, with a FHD display that brings movies and games to life with enhanced color, clarity and resolution. Its JBL designed stereo speakers and subwoofer paired with Dolby Advanced Audio provides a totally immersive experience rarely found on a laptop. The backlit keyboard glows in dimly lit environments, adding to the overall visual experience.

 

At less than 7.5 pounds, the Y70 Touch is thinner and lighter than most other laptops in its class. The external optical disc drive is included in the box. The Y70 Touch also features up to five hours of battery life and customizable memory and storage options, with up to 16GB DDR3L and 1TB of SSHD storage or 256GB SSD storage. If you are wondering when the Lenovo Y70 Touch is going to be available; it’s going to be available the beginning of October 2014 with models starting at $1,299.
