SCCM 2012 R2 SQL Server Memory Configuration

This year I’m focusing on SCCM 2012 R2 and building the lab as if I was managing 100,000 clients. During the SQL Server configuration part, you have to configure the limitation of the memory. Now, depending on your memory configuration and server setup, you may want to do this because during the installation of System Center Configuration Manager 2012 R2 you will get the following SQL Server memory warnings:

The configuration manager requires SQL Server to reserve a minimum of 8GBs of memory for the Central Administration Site and for the Primary Site. This memory is reserved by using the minimum server memory setting under Server Memory Options and is configured by using SQL Server Management Studios. If your SQL Server is already configured for un-limited memory usage you should configure SQL Server memory to have a maximum limit. On my virtual machine, I did the recommendation of 8GBs:
