The IdeaCentre AIO Y910 is Lenovo’s newest gaming device announced at this year’s Gamescom 2016 event. It comes with a 27″ QHD display, Harman/Kardon speakers and the latest NVIDIA Pascal graphic card. The Y910 is a desktop that’s game-ready right out of the box. One feature that makes the Y910 unique is it’s simple tool-less upgradeable parts. Also, for those looking to declutter, the Y910 can act as stand alone monitor with a simple press of a button.

The AIO Y910 brings Lenovo’s striking Y series design language to an all-in-one form factor that is well suited for gamers who want to save some desk space, but don’t want to sacrifice the power of a full-sized gaming desktop.

Quick feature summary on the Y910:

Modern games are more visually stunning than ever with the Lenovo’s Y910. It provides gamers with that breathtaking experience wrapped in a large 27-inch QHD IPS display. A useful feature implemented on the AIO Y910’s display is the ability to use it as a stand-alone monitor. This eliminates the need for a separate monitor on a desk if users want to extend a laptop’s display. It’s done by simply connecting another computer via HDMI, and pressing a button on the left-side of the AIO Y910 to activate it. Additionally, a built-in headphone cradle adds to the clutter-free aesthetic of the AIO Y910.

Customization has always been the bread and butter of PC gaming. The AIO Y910 continues in this fashion and is very easy to upgrade – no special tools needed. Simply press the red Y button to pop out the back panel, for effortless swapping of your GPU, memory, or storage.

This machine is build for gamers that don’t want to get their hands dirty in building a custom PC for gaming and just want to start playing extreme games right out of the box. Starting price of $1499 is high for my budget, but I’m willing to save up. Even though, the only issue I found during my review was the loud fan noise – I think I could live with that.
