How to Create a Microsoft Teams Package in Microsoft Intune | Complete Guide

In this guide, we’ll walk you through the steps to create a Microsoft Teams package within Microsoft Intune. This is an essential task for IT administrators who need to deploy Microsoft Teams to multiple devices within their organization.

Step 1: Download Microsoft Teams

1. Go to the Microsoft Teams Download Page: Visit the official Microsoft Teams download site and click on “Download the Teams app for desktop.”
2. Choose the Correct Version: You’ll be presented with several options. Select the appropriate version for your system. In this example, we will choose “Download for Windows 64-bit.”
3. Save the Installer: Once you click to download, your browser will prompt you to select a location to save the installer. Choose a location like the Downloads folder and click Save.

Step 2: Open Microsoft 365 Admin Center

1. Access Microsoft 365 Admin Center: After downloading, go to the Microsoft 365 Admin Center.
