Episode 20 – Get a List of all Installed Programs and Updates

Problem: 

I received an old computer from a user that was going to get a new one for a replacement. When he dropped off the laptop he wanted me to make sure that all the programs installed in the old laptop were in the new laptop.  I was like okay I could run WinAudit get a list and that’s it, but I wanted to do it quick and fast without downloading anything on the machine :). “The techy way!”

Solution:

I did some research and found out that I could get  a list of what was installed on the machine [software & Windows updates]
