Episode 45 – Windows 8: Boot to Desktop Instead of Metro Interface

If you are not use to the Metro Interface being the first thing you see when you log into Windows 8 and if you prefer, you can bypass this new interface and have the good old desktop show when you get on. 🙂 Even though Microsoft doesn’t give you a quick setting or option for this, you can utilize the Task Scheduler feature of Windows to start Explorer at logon and take you to your desktop.
