Add a Windows Server 2012 DC to an Existing Windows Server 2003 Network

2. make sure you have it raised to Windows Server 2003

3. raise the forest domain level

4. make to raise the forest to “Windows Server 2003”

5. time to configure your Windows Server 2012 server. Add the DHCP role

6. add all the features needed for DHCP

7. Click on Next > Next > and Install

8.  click on “Promote this server to a domain controller”

9. enter your domain and add an account that administers your AD > click Next

10. enter a root password for Active Directory | then choose your AD

11. click Next > Next > Next and Install to finish the installation

12. Go to your Server 2003 machine and check your “Domain Controller” container and you will see your Server 2012 Domain Controller
