Smart Power Strip is a new kind of home automation device, that offers a simple, affordable solution, letting Smartphone users to control multiple electronic appliances remotely, monitor power consumption, and automate to improve energy efficiency.

Smartphone users will soon be able to control, automate, and monitor any electronic appliances in their home or office from anywhere. Smart Power Strip has made it, as a finalist in Engadget’s Insert Coin New Challengers competition at Expand NY. It is a power strip with multiple ‘Smart’ sockets, Smartphone app, and power meter that provides dual 2.4Ghz, WiFi and Home automation MESH networks, for users to easily build their Smart Homes. It is designed to do things that other so-called ‘Smart’ devices cannot do, and it will be launched on Kickstarter, say Roger Yiu, Inventor of Smart Power Strip.
