Westinghouse Digital Announces New Ultra HD Desktop Displays

Westinghouse Ultra HD DisplayWestinghouse Digital, one of the leading display manufacturers in the U.S., will be launching a new line of 4K Ultra High Definition (UHD) professional LED desktop displays at CE Week NY 2014.  The new 4K desktop displays, which range in size from 28” – 39”, provide exceptional image quality and performance with today’s most advanced display technologies in a sleek, thin bezel design.

At four times the resolution of current High Definition displays, Westinghouse Digital’s new 4K UHD desktop displays provide sharp, crisp images and a level of detail not found in current displays.

Large, Ultra HD resolution displays are the perfect solution for design and architectural offices where intricate, complex CAD designs can be viewed in crisp, sharp detail.  The financial services industry can benefit from UHD desktop displays by reducing the number of monitors needed in a workspace.  Screens can be split into 4 separate high definition, 1080p images, providing clarity for spreadsheets, website and other data applications.

The new Westinghouse lineup of UHD (4K) desktop monitors are available in 28”, 32”, and 39”.  All feature 16×9 widescreen aspect ratios and the highest picture quality currently achievable in the video market at eight (8) times the resolution of current 1080p monitors.

Westinghouse Digital’s 4K UHD displays provide a number of key features designed for commercial applications.  Supporting resolutions up to 4086x 2160 pixels @ 60 Hz, the full line features the ability to upscale standard definition, high definition or full high definition content.  The displays can be mounted in portrait or landscape mode for a wide range of commercial applications.  Included connections include DisplayPort 1.2, HDMI 1.4 and dual link DVI-D input, allowing seamless connectivity options for all.
