Samsung’s Unpacked Episode 2 Announces the Galaxy Note 4 and More
Samsung wasn't holding any punches this morning when announcing not one, but four new products to the market. Samsung started us off with some beautiful music, which the musicians were using the Galaxy Note 4 as an instrument. Once the music stopped it was a non-stop action pack on announcements that focus on smartphones, wearable on the wrist and also VR wearable. The Samsung introduced the following product today at the 2014 IFA held in Germany, Berlin.
Galaxy Note 4 – Samsung’s first 1440p display and quad-core Snapdragon 805 chip-set.
Galaxy Edge – wait a minute now I know what Microsoft did with the “Charm Bar” from Windows 8
Galaxy Gear S – Users can receive messages, emails, get directions, and even make calls all with the smart-watch itself, which is being debuted alongside the Samsung Circle Bluetooth headset.
Galaxy Gear VR – Samsung Gear VR is a virtual-reality headset that uses the company’s new Galaxy Note 4 as its main display. It looks a little like an Oculus Rift, and a “powered by Oculus” and its logo appears on the side., but if you look really close to it reminds me of Google’s Cardboard VR headset. Can you see it?
