Windows 10 is almost here – What to expect when the time comes

windows-10_wpHeader I just realized that I have to get myself ready to upgrade some of my client machines to Windows 10. There are only 17 more days until Microsoft releases the final build of Windows 10 to the public. As a techy, I’m satisfied with Windows 10 and all the features given to me. Like come on, this version of Windows 10 is like five times better and usable than Windows 8 or Windows 8.1. I took some time and created four videos for you guys detailing what I think might happen on July 29th when Microsoft makes Windows 10 live for everyone.

Upgrade Windows 7 SP1 to Windows 10

Upgrade Windows 8.1 to Windows 10

Okay, you might have taken the plunge and upgraded your machine to Windows 10 but you are not satisfied with it. Nothing works! Microsoft was nice enough to give us 30 days to downgrade back to our old Operating System, so test your applications and hardware and make sure everything works.

Uninstall Windows 10 and Downgrade to Windows 7

Uninstall Windows 10 and Downgrade to Windows 8.1

Before, I let you guys go. Please make sure you backup your files and have all your drivers for your hardware (printers, scanners or fax machines) stored nearby before you upgrade your current Windows Operating System. For your backups, make sure you are able to restore them with no problems. Even though, Microsoft gives us 30 days to trial out Windows 10 and revert back to our old Operating System – a lot can happen in a short amount of time.
