The Ideapad Y900 has the full power of a gaming desktop in an aggressive gaming notebook form factor. Like the previous generation Y series gaming laptops, the Y900 retains a similar design language, but with more power and more flare.

For better performance, the Y900 has updated its graphics, memory and processor. Also, a One Key Turbo switch has been added as a quick way of boosting performance on the fly. The Y900 stays remarkably cool with its large vents and fans, maintaining optimal temperatures.

Keyboard performance is essential to high-end gaming, so the Y900 has an ultra-responsive mechanical keyboard. The keyboard’s customizable backlighting brings the Y900 to life. One of the highlights of the Y900 is the amazing audio experience that brings games to life. The Y900 gives users a surround sound type of experience with two JBL speakers and a bass subwoofer. The subwoofer is located at the bottom of the chassis to amplify bass tones. The Ideapad Y900 comes with an all-new mechanical keyboard with a programmable lighting feature. It offers “switch key” mechanisms for a tactile response, deep 2mm key travel, and fast 1ms response times making the Y900 keyboard extremely accurate for gaming. The keyboard has anti-ghosting capability that allows it to process an unlimited number of simultaneous keystrokes.
