Today, we will walk you through the process of excluding a single computer from a Group Policy Object (GPO) in Active Directory. This is a straightforward process and is particularly useful if you need to prevent certain policies from applying to specific computers within your network. In this guide, we will show how to exclude a computer from a GPO that disables widgets.

Step 1: Open Active Directory Users and Computers

First, open your Active Directory Users and Computers console. Find the computer that you want to exclude from the GPO. For this example, the computer is part of the Workstation Organizational Unit (OU).

Step 2: Open Group Policy Management

Next, open Group Policy Management. Here, locate the specific GPO that you want to exclude the computer from. In this example, we are working with a GPO that disables widgets.
