Taking a 360-degree view of a problem always leads to the best solution. With its multi-mode capability, the thin and light ThinkPad L380 Yoga lets you easily adapt to today’s dynamic work environment—so you perform at your best. And the world-facing infrared camera lets you share your unique view of the world, whether you’re in laptop, tent, or tablet mode. The latest processors, memory, and storage ensure productivity stays on point, and multitasking is made easy with modern connectivity features. With vPro remote manageability, Mil-Spec durability, and long battery life, the L380 Yoga is the sensible enterprise choice no matter how you look at it.

The L380 Yoga will come configured with Intel’s 8th generation processor, formally known as Kaby Lake R. Kaby Lake R is the first set of quad-core processors running on only 15 watts of power. What this means is more processing power and in some cases users will see improvements in performance by up to thirty five percent.

The ThinkPad Pen Pro with Active Pen Technology is an ideal input solution for content creation. Don’t worry about losing the pen once you place the ThinkPad Pen Pro in the garage at the base of the ThinkPad L380 Yoga, where it can also charge. Providing integrated right- and left-click buttons for data interaction plus 2,048 levels of pressure sensitivity, the ThinkPad Pen Pro gives you a premium pen experience.

By going away from proprietary charging, users gain the flexibility of using third-party chargers with the L380 Yoga. Unfortunately, not all chargers are engineered properly. Lenovo has incorporated “antifry” protection prevent damage to the device from poorly designed USB-C chargers. Inside the L380 Yoga is intelligent anti-fry circuitry that monitors and prevents third-party chargers from sending an incorrect voltage.

The L380 Yoga comes with a more advanced Match-onChip fingerprint reader (optional per configuration). This is a much more secure method of analyzing fingerprint data than previous Match-on-Host implementations. Instead of processing the fingerprint data on the host device, the new Match-on-Chip technology is a fully encapsulated system-on-a-chip (SoC) architecture that isolates fingerprint enrollment, pattern storage, and biometric matching within the actual fingerprint sensor module.
